The Astrolabe album opens with Krzysia Górniak composition Sweet Almonds, which had an instrumental version on the album Memories. This time, in a vocal-instrumental version, it builds the mood and musical atmosphere of the album. It is a warm bossa nova with a Portuguese feeling, which is a memory of happy summer days. Rui Teles wrote the lyrics and sang in a duet with Olga Barej. It is a story about searching for love, about sailing under the stars, between seas of feelings. About how love can mess up your life and how we can enjoy it.

On the album, we can also hear other original compositions such as Astrolabio (composition and lyrics by Rui Teles), a story about searching for love, immortalized by a dream about dancing among the stars with your beloved on an astrolabe. And the haunting Nascente do Fado (a joint composition by Maciej Wieżyński, Rui Teles and Krzysia Górniak) is Rui’s story about destiny, which he called eastern fado…  Krzysia Górniak
